Teen Board

It's time to start again with the Teen Board. Anyone in 6th grade or older who is interested, please contact Sharon at the library or  Depending on your schedule, we will announce our first meeting in October or November.

To be a member of the Teen group, you need to be in good standing at the Library.  In other words, no huge outstanding fines, overdues, or lost books.  You also need to adhere to our behavior policy -- in other words behave in the Library!  Teen members need to set a good example of a teen library patron.

Our Teen Group needs to start over with new faces and ideas.  Below, you will see some of the benefits from belong to a teen group at the Library.  And yes, I have written letters of recommendation for members of the previous group for scholarships and college admissions.

Through involvement in  Teen Board, teens can gain valuable experiences that will be useful now and in the future. Some of the benefits of involvement include:

Meeting and interacting with a diverse group of people.

The satisfaction of serving the community and especially the library,

which greatly benefits from the help.

Looks good on college applications.

Having fun!
